Melissa Tyndall is a writer, professor, and Supernatural fangirl. She has a Bachelor of Science in English, a Master of Arts in Corporate Communication, and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.
The 2015 Best New Poets nominee’s poems and award-winning articles have appeared in Number One, Prism international, Red Mud Review, Words + Images, Sixfold, Gamut, The Ekphrastic Review, and various newspapers. Her work is forthcoming in the Coffin Bell Journal and Sugared Water.
Tyndall has presented at Southwest Popular Culture & American Culture Association and Association of Writers & Writing Programs conferences. She is also a Tennessee Press Award winner and the former adviser of the award-winning student literary magazine, Squatter’s Rites.
She lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with her partner, Matt, their daughter, and two cats.
