Melissa Tyndall is a writer, bibliophile, cat mom, and Supernatural fangirl. She has a Bachelor of Science in English, a Master of Arts in Corporate Communication, and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.
The Best New Poets 2015 nominee’s poems and award-winning articles have appeared in Number One, Prism international, Red Mud Review, Words + Images, Sixfold, and various newspapers. She is also the former adviser of the award-winning student literary magazine, Squatter’s Rites.
Tyndall has presented at Southwest Popular Culture & American Culture Association and Association of Writers & Writing Programs conferences. Her essay “Ganking Peter Pan: How Sam & Dean ‘Full-on Swayzed’ Generational Stereotypes” is forthcoming in a collection examining The CW television series Supernatural.
She lives in Los Angeles.
